COMPUTING AND IT With technology developing and emerging at such an incredible pace, and the need for digital skills becoming ever more important, the digital sector really is an exciting, vibrant and rewarding industry to work in. Our courses are delivered in our modern Digital Hub, which is equipped with industry standard equipment and technology to ensure you are industry ready.
If you don’t have English and maths at GCSE grade 9- 4, you will contin ue to work towards this as part of your m ain programme of study.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
This course will teach you basic skills in computing and IT including hardware and software installation, website development, programming and solving technical IT problems. You will learn in our industry standard Digital Hub.
This course is aimed at those that would like to develop knowledge and skills in the business and finance area – whether that be setting up your own business or working as an accountant. You will complete the Level 2 AAT Book Keeping course and the Level 2 ITQ Business course which includes using computerised accounting software, IT communication fundamentals, using email, desktop publishing, word processing, presentation and excel software unit.

WHAT GRADES DO I NEED? Three GCSEs grade 2 or above or an entry level qualification in a related course.
WHAT’S NEXT? On completion of this course you could progress on to one of our level 2 computing and IT courses.
