Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook The Everett Community College Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook contains information about student rights and responsibilities. The handbook provides a detailed description of rights and responsibilities as they pertain to the students, the college, and the community, as well as the Student Code of Conduct, procedures for disciplinary actions, procedures to ensure student rights and due process, and the jurisdiction of college personnel. CO-CURRICULAR AND COLLEGE-RELATED PROGRAMS The Clipper This student-produced, award-winning news organization publishes news about college and campus activities. Journalism students and others who are interested participate in writing, editing, and publishing the newspaper and articles online. Credit may be earned by enrolling in Journalism 170. Vibrations Vibrations is a student-produced creative arts magazine, published annually. All

Russell Day Gallery Russell Day, a faculty member from 1948 to 1974, established the visual arts program at the college and was dedicated to bringing works of varied artists, media, and movements to the students of Everett Community College. In recognition of this influence, the gallery was re-named for him in 2008. The gallery has a specific interest in displaying the work of artists from underrepresented groups, alumni of EvCC, and providing exhibits that are not generally accessible to the public through other regional galleries. Early Learning Center The Early Learning Center provides preschool and childcare for children ages 1 to 5 in a warm, safe, positive environment that is designed to encourage the important developmental growth and learning. A free preschool and family support program, ECEAP (Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program) is available to income-eligible families. All families have opportunities to participate in the care and education of their child by volunteering in the classroom and participating in parent education classes.
