TENNIS MEETS TRANQUILITY Omni La Costa Resort and Spa By Joey Hanf Tennis travelers have a wealth of options each year, both inside the United States and abroad. Every resort and every location has their unique selling-points, but very few have the ability to put an entire agenda of activities and leisure, specific for tennis players, at their disposal. At Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, however, it’s clear that the tennis guest has been taken care of, and then some. Before even considering anything else, tennis travelers top priority is most often the programming the resort offers on a weekly basis. Cliff Drysdale Tennis manages the world class tennis program, and there is no shortage of play opportunities. The facility includes 17 total courts, including 4 red clay and 13 hard courts, including 7 lighted for night play. There are three hours of tennis clinics every day, with an intermediate offering from 9-10am, 10-11am, and 2-3pm. 28
