J
eremy Remily’s career as the Optics Manager at SCHEELS began with a billboard. “In 2002 I was heading from Jamestown, ND, to Montana for a job in the oil fields. While I was driving on the interstate, I saw the SCHEELS billboard. Something about it made me realize I wasn't doing what God wanted me to do,” Jeremy said. “I trusted that feeling and have now been here for 21 years.” What makes Jeremy passionate about his role in Optics is big game hunting. “My favorite [animal to hunt] is mule deer. I have also enjoyed hunting 32 | FACES OF BISMARCK MANDAN 2023
different types of big game in Africa, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, and several states, including Alaska.” What he loves most about his role is talking to customers about their upcoming hunts and helping them get everything they need to make the hunt as fun and successful as possible. “I really enjoy showing customers the difference in high-quality optics, as it can make a huge difference.” When he’s not at SCHEELS or out hunting, Jeremy’s first passion is his family, and he is highly involved in his kids' sports throughout the community.
