During that time she covered big stories (eg the opposition to the Pilling gas terminal plan, the devastating Wyre floods of the 1970s and the blaze which destroyed the Garstang CCM factory as well as the more regular goings on. Along with two other local journos of the time (Pat Seed and Tess Pickford), Angela had a ringside seat at local events.
Look into my eyes, what do you see? Oh the caricature of a mesmeric hypnotist may well be attractive to writers and film makers but the reality is that a skilled hypnotherapist can be a life changing and positive influence for many.
At the book launch Angela will recount some of her memories of the stories she covered. Angela, who lived in Pilling for many years before moving to Preesall, will be accompanied by her husband, Keith (son of a former Pilling village bobby). No need to book.
