HOMENAGENS ESCOLA POLACA DE ANIMAÇÃO 27TH FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE ANIMAÇÃO ETIUDA&ANIMA POLISH SCHOOL OF ANIMATION - 27TH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL ETIUDA&ANIMA Há 62 anos, graças ao sucesso de ”The House”, que ganhou o prémio na competição de cinema experimental na EXPO 58, em Bruxelas, Jan Lenica e Walerian Borowczyk começaram o fenómeno artístico de prestígio mundial chamado “Escola Polaca de Animação”. Desde o seu início, uma das características mais importantes da escola era a natureza plástica e original, o que, à medida que o tempo passou, fortaleceu a convicção de que a animação artística de autor tinha mais em comum com a tradição das artes plásticas do que com a tradição do cinema. As gerações seguintes de cineastas de animação polacos vêm revelar novas facetas desta particular aventura visual do mundo do cinema. Este última reunião de animações realizada por artístas polacos, ou polacas, já que as mulheres dominam em maioria, maravilham-nos com a sua criatividade, sensibilidade, e talento. Sixty-two (62) years ago, thanks to the success of ”The House”, which won the prize in the experimental film competition at EXPO 58 in Brussels, Jan Lenica and Walerian Borowczyk initiated the world-renowned artistic phenomenon called ”Polish school of animation”. From the very beginning, one of the most important features of the school was its original, plastic character which, as time passed by, strengthened the conviction that the auteur artistic animation has more in common with the tradition of plastic arts than film. The following generations of Polish animated filmmakers reveal new facets of this unique visual adventure of the world cinema. The last set is animations made by Polish artists, women who are now the dominant majority and delight with their creativity, sensitivity, and talent.
