Bachelor | Allgemeine Grundlagen II Englisch 4

Improve, revise, advance

Dozentin Catherine Shultis

The four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking as well as grammar and vocabulary will be revised and expanded upon. Reading and writing: students will improve their abilities to read for detail and overall meaning by being exposed to a variety of technical and everyday English texts. They will produce a portfolio of written texts (emails, letters, reviews, compositions, CV’s, etc.) which demonstrate clear improvement over four semesters. Speaking and listening: students will increase their confidence and fluency in managing spoken discourse in a variety of contexts, while being exposed to native and non-native varieties of English. Students will present to their peers on a technical subject. Grammar and vocabulary: students will learn technical terms related to architecture as well as preparing for working life.

ECTS 1 Bewertungsgrundlage Tests and examinations, assessment of written and spoken work. Regular class attendance. Vorkenntnisse B1 level
