CARPENTRY AND JOINERY
Carpentry and Joinery will give you an introduction to Carpentry within the Construction industry. You will be able to improve your hand skills to produce various woodworking joints before moving towards site structural work such as fixing Architraves, Skirting and Door linings. In Level 2 you can specialise in Site Carpentry or Architectural Joinery.
CONSTRUCTION SKILLS (CARPENTRY AND JOINERY) DIPLOMA • LEVEL 1
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You will learn how to carry out basic carpentry including woodworking joints and the use of hand and power tools. You will learn about the importance of safe working practices.
GCSEs at grade 2/3 (plus a favourable report from school).

WHAT NEXT Level 2 Apprenticeship in Site Carpentry or Bench Joiner or straight into employment.
