English at Andover College provides a stimulating environment in which to study one of three different pathways. Depending on your area of interest, you could study classic texts, learn how language is used or write creatively. While English builds on the skills learnt at school, content is very different. It is important to explore the different pathways to find the right one for you!

Employers in all sectors require you to have English qualifications as this demonstrates ability in a core subject. This one-year course allows you the opportunity to re‑sit GCSE English Language.
