HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE
You will learn the theoretical side of Health and Social Care whilst adapting your knowledge to fit into different health and social care settings. There is also the opportunity to take part in different work placements giving you experience within the industry. By the end of the courses you will have all you need to go on to study at a higher level or to go straight into employment.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This course is the first step in pursuing a career in Health and Social Care where the units that you study develop your skills to be able to support others such as communication, equality and diversity and health living.
Four GCSEs at grade 9–3, including English Language.
WHAT NEXT Progression to a Level 3 Health and Social Care course, apprenticeships and work based learning courses.
INDUSTRY WORK PLACEMENTS As part of our Level 2 Certificate programme, all students will complete a work placement in a health/social care environment throughout the academic year. A dedicated placement day will form a part of a student’s weekly timetable and there will be group tutorial sessions throughout the year, in order to complete time sheets and portfolios. 90
