Performance Improvements Speed Shops Ltd. 1964 - 2022 Bob and Susan McJannett began with a single retail auto parts store at 1268 the Queensway. That tiny store became a successful, multi-chain performance parts empire, er, business. But changes to the retail landscape made it difficult to justify the work put in for the minuscule return. As car nuts know, it’s hard to keep spinning your wheels without gaining traction. In the performance auto parts business beginning in 1964, Performance Improvements prided ourselves on serving the needs of our customers. As car guys (& gals) ourselves, we knew the frustration of laying in the driveway missing the part we need to get back on the road! We tried to help you take home all the parts you needed to actually install that performance auto part or accessory on your car. Thank you to everyone who was part of our 58-year history. The revolving door of employees, many, many repeat customers and everyone else we met along the way. It’s been a great ride!
