It is the process of optimising a website to improve its visibility and ranking in the organic section of the search engine results pages. SEO is used to increase the quantity and quality of traffic to a website through search engine results. This is typically achieved by using a combination of on-site and off-site optimisation techniques (all the fun stuff that we’ll be covering in this book).
