s someone that has struggled to find that elusive feeling of happiness in the past, I know all too well the journey it takes to find it. For many years I suffered from depression and found it extremely difficult to find even the simplest things in life joyful. This was despite having a lovely life with two gorgeous children and a successful career. Happiness is not dependent on external sources. You can have everything in the world and still feel unhappy. Sure, what is going on in life can definitely impact your happiness, but
true, empowered happiness comes from within. It starts with how you see the world. One of my favourite quotes, that literally changed my life, is by Dr Wayne Dyer – “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” When I say happiness starts from within, it’s all about how you view the world, through your own individual lens, that influences your emotions. So, what is happiness? Happiness is essentially how good you feel about your life. That can include how satisfied you feel with your job,
