he next membership meeting and program of the Woman’s Club, at Downtown SPYC, takes place on November 9th featuring, Ian Prosser, an award-winning floral designer. Ian will be designing holiday arrangements and offering holiday decorating ideas. Ian Prosser is a leader in the floral industry worldwide. He was born in Scotland where he started his floral career more than 48 years ago. In 1989, Ian opened Botanica International Design Studio to serve the greater Tampa Bay area. The recently expanded Botanica International Design & Decor Studio exclusively focuses on designs for weddings and large events across the globe. Ian enjoys many prestigious awards and achievements. One of his most prized successes was an invitation by the Society of American Florists to design inaugu-ral decorations for President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush. Among Ian’s esteemed clients are Dolce & Gabbana, Queen Elizabeth, Tory Burch, Tom Cruise, Donna Summer, and so many more. In 2012, he was awarded one of his highest accolades, the Paul Ecke Junior Award for outstanding service to the industry and community. Most recently, in 2021, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Florida State Floral Association. Ian is known for his exceptional creativity, diligent work ethic, and his sense of humor. He also has a love for fashion, architecture, and interior design. Don’t miss your opportunity to meet Ian, enjoy his talent , and be swept up in his delightful Scottish brogue.
