ith epic gatherings in New Hampshire early August and Massachusetts early September, Ken and Corrine St. Jean decided to add on to their RV trip all manner of visits to family, old friends, and familial roots on a historic “Past is Prologue” adventure.

Florida to Canadian Maritimes
They spent 2 months on the road with their Maine Coon Cat, Misha, in their motorhome (towing their Jeep) from Florida to the Canadian Maritimes.

St. Jean's rig - Newmar New Aire & Jeep The St. Jean’s traveled over 5000 miles in the RV, another 3000 in the Jeep and even 24 Nautical Miles on Ferries. They set up at 30 campgrounds along the way and used the Jeep to explore an average of 100 miles around each location, taking advantage of every minute to create lots of “moments” and memories. From the Magnetic Hill and Bay of Fundy in Montauk, New Brunswick, to the warm waters of the Northumberland Straight and rusty red soil of Prince Edward Island (PEI, Corrine’s roots), to Peggy’s Cove near Halifax Nova Scotia (NS), the most breathtaking vistas of all of the Canadian highlights was the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island, NS. Throughout the trip, besides the primary tributes to the past, they enjoyed large quantities of lobster and haddock, poutine (fries with brown gravy and cheese curds) and “tiny Maine blueberry” pies. You’ll have to ask them about their “border crossing” experience.
