In 2020, Surfaces Group developed a highly innovative process for polishing and lapping large porcelain surfaces and more traditional sizes. Called Flat Reflex Polishing System, it is the result of concerted efforts on the part of several group companies (ADI, Luna Abrasivi and Surfaces T.A.) and brings a marked improvement in both performance and productivity. The aspect of the Flat Reflex Polishing System that really sets it apart from previous technologies is the fact that it is a truly multifunctional process, allowing any type of porcelain surface of any size and thickness to be produced on the same line, from traditional porcelain stoneware (technical, fullbody or coloured) to glazed porcelain stoneware and innovative extra-large slabs of low, medium or high thickness. The world of porcelain stoneware has seen enormous development over the years. Today’s ceramic industry is more focused on the use of dry digital decoration and specific powder loading systems to create veins that extend through the entire thickness of the products. Nel corso del 2020 Surfaces Group ha messo a punto un processo altamente innovativo per la levigatura e lappatura di superfici in gres porcellanato tecnico e smaltato di grandi dimensioni e non solo. È Flat Reflex Polishing System, frutto del lavoro sinergico di diverse società del gruppo (ADI, Luna Abrasivi e Surfaces T.A.), che garantisce un sensibile miglioramento delle performance produttive e un altrettanto netto incremento di produttività. Il punto di forza della nuova tecnologia, che la distingue rispetto alle precedenti, consiste nel fatto che Flat Reflex Polishing System è un vero e proprio processo multifunzione, ossia, sulla stessa linea è
possibile produrre qualunque tipo di superficie in gres porcellanato, di qualunque formato e spessore: dal gres porcellanato tradizionale (tecnico, a tutta massa o colorato in massa), al gres porcellanato smaltato, alle innovative lastre XL a basso, medio o alto spessore. Come sappiamo, il prodotto gres porcellanato è stato oggetto di grande rinnovamento negli anni.
