eneral Plumbing Supply, in business since 1910, is still familyowned and operated. Begun as a small company with one location, it is now one of the largest distributors on the East Coast, serving New Jersey, New York, and Eastern Pennsylvania. “Our customer service is one of the things we pride ourselves on and really makes us stand apart, along with the family owned values that we have instilled in the company over the years,” says Sarah Barton, marketing director. “We’re really hoping that when someone enters one of our showrooms, they’re getting the best customer experience and help.” Since General Plumbing Supply offers everything needed for a kitchen and bath space, from standard plumbing fixtures like faucets and shower heads, to tubs, toilets, countertops, cabinetry and lighting, customers can design an entire room with products from one store.
“People can come into any of our 12 showrooms and design an entire space,” says Sarah. “So, even those add on things you might not think about, like towels bars or lighting. Many of the lines we carry offer accessories to match your fixtures.” The products offered are high quality. They don’t just look good, but also perform well over time. fixture that looks similar to what General Plumbing Supply has, but Sarah says that many times, the components are not the same materials and quality. “We’re very selective in the lines we carry, so everything we do offer is top of the line.”
