The most common way to fund your degree is with a student loan that covers all your tuition fees - and you won’t be asked to pay back a penny until you’ve graduated and earning over the government threshold. Find out more at gov.uk/student-finance.
You can apply for both of these loans from February before you start university and the earlier the better to ensure that you are paid on time in September. You don’t need to have made your final choice of university to apply – just put your first choice and you can edit your application at any point up to enrolment.
