It includes the creation of a pedestrian zone for the entrance to pavilion A, a significant reduction of tarmac and concrete areas and replacing them with greenery. In front of the main entrance to pavilion A will be a small park, which will be fitted with pub-
lic lighting, which has so far been absent there. We must not forget our smallest visitors for whom we are preparing an expansion of the children’s playground. The aim is to create a pleasant public area full of greenery situated in the very centre of Ostrava, a place where people will feel well and safe. I already have a pleasant feeling from the first stage, and I believe that we will fulfil this vision. What are the time scales and planned costs? We will finish the first stage of the revitalization of Černá louka this year. The assumed costs are about CZK 4.5 million. The whole project wouldn’t be possible without support from the Statutory town of Ostrava. Once the revitalization is finished, are you planning any changes or modifications to the programme concept? Both plans and preparations for the revitalization of Černá louka will take up too much time. We don’t want to wait with the change of the concept of events until revitalization is finished. We already came up with new events last year, these being for instance Včela (The Bee) – a trade fair intended not just for beekeepers, or the Book Festival, both of which have already found their supporters in the first year and gained tremendous popularity. This year will be the first time for ReFashioN – a festival of sustainable fashion, which we are organizing in co-operation with Trojhalí Karolina and are gradually innovating the already established events such as Kreativ, Dovolená and others. Jakou nabídku či program bude Ústecký kraj prezentovat na svém stánku na letošním veletrhu v Cannes? Chceme představit především Ústecký kraj jako takový. Myslíme, že kraj má co nabídnout – je krajem rozmanitosti, není to jen černá díra, z níž vedou dráty, není to jen vylou-
čená lokalita, jak jej filmaři představují v televizi. Máme tu plno přírodních krás a zajímavostí, které určitě stojí za to navštívit. Prostřednictvím naší prezentace na veletrhu bychom rádi upozornili potenciální zahraniční návštěvníky, aby věděli, kam jedou. Druhým a možná závažnějším důvodem je skutečnost, že Ústecký kraj vlastní několik nemovitostí. Je škoda, aby chátraly a byly nevyužité. Samotný Ústecký kraj pro ně nemá využití, ale ani dostatek investičních prostředků, aby je nějakým způsobem obhospodařoval. Chceme na tyto nemovitosti upozornit a přilákat případné investory, kteří by o ně projevili zájem a mohli by tam v budoucnu podnikat. Jakého charakteru jsou prezentované nemovitosti? Je to zámek Liběšice u Litoměřic, administrativní budova Most – Velebudice, zámek Hliňany, hraniční přechod Rumburk – Horní Jindřichov a zámek Milešov.
