MASTERCARD FOUNDATION SCHOLARS PROGRAM The MasterCard foundation has partnered with University of Cape town to oversee the implementation of financial, academic, social and post graduation support and award candidtates with the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cape town. The vision of this program is to transition young people from beneficiaries to benefactors while preparing them with the necessary values, knowledge, skills and leadership to fuel economic and social progress across Africa. •
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to academically talented and economically disadvantaged residents of a Sub Saharan African country. Applicants can apply as an undergraduate or postgraduate.

AWARD: Recipients will be awarded comprehensive scholarships, academic support, peer mentorship, career guidance, internship opportunities, transition-to-work support and access to a global alumni network.
