Very precise and extremely robust With a repeatability of two thousandths millimeters, the precision of the EROWA UPC (Universal Power Chuck) palletizing system leaves nothing to be desired. Whether to palletize large workpieces on milling machines or to machine small workpieces on vertical eroding machines; the UPC palletizing system is suitable for flexible use.

EROWA UPC The widely spaced support surfaces of the UPC chuck make the palletizing system extremely tilt-proof. The pallet is pre-centered with chucking spigots. Then four robust centering segments take over to ensure precise positioning in the pallet und chuck. Compressed air is used for opening and cleaning. The closure generates a pull-down force of 50,000 N.

The UPC palletizing system is the interface between the manufacturing machine and the workpiece for various machining technologies such as: milling, grinding, EDM sinking and measuring machines. Changeover takes just a few steps and then production can continue.
The UPC palletizing system is consistently automatable. The chucks are completely sealed against ingress of coolant and chips. The contact surfaces are cleaned automatically and thoroughly with air.

The robust design of the self-centering vise is ideal for heavy-duty machining. Selecting the appropriate jaws adds even more strength. The self-centering vise 148 has a clamping range of 5-155 mm. THE FACTS

The entire body of the self-centering vise is manufactured from stainless hardened steel. In addition, the slide and the spindle have a high-tech coating and are wearfree. The high-precision spindle and the guides are also protected against dirt.
The SlipStop® surface prevents unhardened workpieces from slipping. The holding force is more than doubled.
The jaws can be set up easily and quickly by hand without any tools.
For use on small machines, the selfcentering vise is available in a smaller design as Model 85 P. The properties are the same as those of its big brother.
The self-centering vise version without pallet can be mounted as to other EROWA palletizing systems as a workpiece holder.
