sixpackfilm wurde 1990 als Non-Profit-Organisation gegründet. Das wichtigste Ziel unserer Arbeit besteht in der Herstellung von Öffentlichkeit für das österreichische künstlerische Filmschaffen. Neben der aktiven Festivalarbeit ist sixpackfilm vor allem als Verleih tätig – unser Katalog umfasst etwa 1.900 Titel und wir vertreten gut 570 Filmemacher*innen. sixpackfilm fungiert außerdem als Veranstalter und vermittelt den Artist Film u. a. in Spezial- und Tourprogrammen oder mit dem Vod/DVD Label INDEX Edition. sixpackfilm.com/indexedition sixpackfilm was founded in 1990 as a non-profit organization. Die scheinbare Übereinstimmung von Straßenlänge und Filmlänge, von Fahrtzeit und Kinozeit ist trügerisch, sagt sie doch letztlich nichts über die „wirkliche“ Länge der Straße. — Hans Scheugl A drive through the street Schumanngasse, from its beginning to its end, is filmed in a single take. Im Januar 2020 stellte Karl Wratschko ein „Remake“ her: die gleiche Straße, die gleiche Dauer und das gleiche Format, 16mm, Schwarzweiß, kein Ton. — Michael Omasta 1967, Hans Scheugl shot his first independent work, a phantom ride of barely three minutes in which the beginning and end of the street also mark the beginning and end of the film.
