qualified with a Bachelor of Nursing from The University of Southampton in 2003 and began my journey into medical aesthetics in 2008 and have enjoyed a rewarding and diverse career to date. Montfort University in Leicester. This qualification allowed me to autonomously and comprehensively assess patients face-to-face in order to safely prescribe & administer prescription-only medicines, such as botulinum toxin (line-relaxing injections), as well as other medical aesthetic treatments. Following this varied role, I embraced new opportunities and worked closely with a Consultant Plastic Surgeon based in the West Midlands. We set up 2 nurse-led medical aesthetic clinics-one of which was within The Nuffield Hospital in Cheltenham, which provided a varied treatment menu, including injectable treatments (dermal fillers & line relaxing injections), chemical peels, as well www.lancmag.com
