ENNISKILLEN UNION ENNISKILLEN UNION LOOKS FORWARD TO REVD ANDREW MULLAN SPEAK ON CONVENTION THEME “WILL YOU TAKE A STAND”?
Rev Andrew Mullan
Members of the Enniskillen Union are busy preparing to welcome fellow Endeavourers, friends and the general public to the 103rd Irish National Christian Endeavour Convention to be held on Friday 15 and Saturday16 September 2017 in Enniskillen Presbyterian Church. They are delighted that The Revd Andrew Mullan has agreed to speak on the theme, “Will you take a stand”? This theme is based on 1Corinthians 16:13 “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong”. Andrew is the Associate Minister at Mourne Presbyterian Church, Kilkeel and has been working there since 2007. Godly parents and the faithful prayers of older Christians were used by God to bring him to a saving faith as a young boy. His family roots are in County Antrim, and he was brought up in Castledawson and Drumbo. He studied law at University before sensing God's call into full-time Gospel ministry. Andrew is committed to discipleship of both young and old and is passionate for preaching the Word locally and globally. His desire is to be wholehearted in his walk with God and to see much glory come to Him as people are saved and Christians are built up. A lover of all sports, any spare time may find him enjoying these especially football, boxing or hiking.

ENNISKILLEN UNION CELEBRATE It's hard to believe that another CE year has ended and what a perfect way to end a beautiful week! On Friday 5th May, the Enniskillen Union gathered together in Ballinamallard Methodist Church for our annual CE Celebration. During the 'roll call', when each Society's name is called, the members recite a piece from the Bible or sing a chorus from a song. The Enniskillen Union celebrated the end of another successful year. Each year we celebrate gifts and talents. This year, the Ruth Snowden Cup for contribution to CE went to Matthew Crozier from Pettigo YPCE. For our challenge shield competitions this year, the Juniors and YPs had to design a banner to be displayed at the Convention in Enniskillen, based on the theme 'Will You Take A Stand?' All the banners were brilliant and obviously a lot of preparation and thought went into them, but there could be only one winning Society in each age group. Togherdoo won the Junior challenge shield and the YP challenge shield went to Pettigo. All the banners will be on display at the Irish CE Convention in September.
