As startups por si só enfrentam vários desafios, e estes vão desde os desafios humanos aos financeiros e tecnológicos. A componente financeira é sem sombras de dúvidas daqueles desafios a que as startups não podem escapar, pois nesta fase embrionária os meios de financiamento são sempre muito reduzidos, e normalmente o que acontece nesta fase são os financiamentos recorrendo aos capitais próprios, i.e., o empreendedor acredita no seu negócio e decide fazer o investimento recorrendo aos seus meios financeiros, pois, nesta fase embrionária os mesmos têm dificuldades de aceder a financiamentos externos. Em Economia, o aumento da produção depende dos fatores de produção utilizados pela sociedade. E quando analisamos os fatores de produção salta-nos à vista o fator ‘tecnologia’, que é um elemento fulcral para o desenvolvimento das startups, e eu continuo a acreditar que Angola só está atrasada face à concorrência porque o fator ‘tecnologia’ ainda é pouco utilizado nas empresas. E a utilização das tecnologias é um elemento impulsionador no aparecimento das startups.
Startups in themselves face several challenges, ranging from human to financial and technological. The financial component is undoubtedly one of those challenges that startups cannot escape because at this embryonic stage the means of financing are always very small, and usually what happens at this stage is financing using their own capital, that is, the entrepreneur believes in his business and decides to invest using his financial means because at this embryonic stage it is difficult to access external financing. In Economics, the increase in production depends on the factors of production used by society. And when we analyze the factors of production, the ‘technology’ factor stands out, which is a key element for the development of startups, and I continue to believe that Angola is only lagging behind the competition because the ‘technology’ factor is still little used in companies. And the use of technology is a driving element in the emergence of startups.
