HOW WE MET
Weston and I met though my twin sister, Megan, and her long-term boyfriend, Witt. Witt and Weston actually grew up together in Memphis, Tennessee, and always joked they were brothers. It all felt so right.

THE PROPOSAL
Weston and I planned a trip to New York City in the summer, but booked it for December so we could see the holiday lights. The trip was my idea, so I wasn’t expecting a proposal. We had reservations on a snowy rooftop one day, and that’s where he asked. As I was sobbing my eyes out, the elevator doors opened revealing his whole family, my sister, her boyfriend and my mom. It was the most romantic moment of my life.

A week after we started dating, we went to his family’s beach house in Alabama. That house was so significant to our love story, and it holds so many memories, we decided it was the perfect, small, intimate place to say “I do.” It became the inspiration for our whole wedding. When we visit years from now, we can tell our kids here's where Mom and Dad fell in love and got married.
I used the CO2LIFT face mask (incredible) and I wore a long-lasting red lip (Fenty Beauty in Uncensored) on our wedding day. It made me feel so beautiful and confident.

Our silverware. It was one of the most expensive items we registered for. Weston and I are very casual and have generally inexpensive taste—but it's the most beautiful, all-gold table setting and we’re so excited to use it.
