Lot 23. Johnny Marr’s Signed Studio-Played Limited Fender Jaguar. Johnny Marr’s studio-played Fender Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar electric guitar from a limited color run of Lake Placid Blue. This instrument was played by Marr during the recording of his upcoming album, Fever Dreams Pts 1-4, which is slated for release on February 25, 2022 via BMG. Combining the body style of Marr’s favorite 1963 Lake Placid Blue Fender Jaguar with the neck style of a 1965 Jaguar, the Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar consists of a solid alder body and maple neck with a rosewood finger board. Featuring custom wound Bare Knuckle single-coil pickups, the guitar is equipped with a four-position blade pickup switch, “bright” slide switches, and a tremolo arm. Serial numbered “”V212450,”” the original Fender COA is included, as well as a strap and a hard shell Fender case. Marr signed the back of the headstock in black ink.
