Back For The Future: Core Conditioning (M)
Intermediate Guitar for Adults 13yrs + (B)
According to Statistics Canada, four out of five adults between the ages of 30-50 will experience at least one episode of back pain affecting their ability to work and participate in physical activity. To optimize spinal health and maintain our Back for the Future, we need to strengthen all of the core muscles in a balanced manner. During this two-hour hands-on workshop participants will: • Identify the true “core muscles”. Did you know your pelvic floor and diaphragm are part of your core? • Learn how to identify common postural dysfunction and how to apply corrective exercises. • Take home a repertoire of safe and effective core conditioning exercises to start using immediately.
This guitar class is for people who have completed the beginner level and are looking for the next step. We’ll cover bar chords, advanced strumming, solos, finger picking plus song writing. Bring your own six-string guitar and pick to each lesson. INSTRUCTOR: Chris
