SEA N F I SC H ER Q. Tell us more about who Sean is? A. As it pertains to my personality, I would say, “I’m an optimistic, open minded, multi-faceted and overzealously positive individual.

Radiating kindness is second nature to me. As an artist I display versatility and I’m an individual that you can’t put into one singular box. I come humble beginnings that shaped me into the person I am today.

Q. Who or What inspired you to be so creative in cosmetics? A. I was deeply inspired by drag queens and club kids. I adored how they would use their artistry and talent as their makeup. My theatre background also inspired me. It was an amazing experience of having to dramatically paint on my makeup for it to translate a certain way from the audiences’ perspective. Editorial makeup that you see in fashion shows or magazines by artist such as Pat McGrath also was a huge inspiration.

my biggest accomplishments. There are so many talented artists who use makeup as their medium in this particular state. I am truly honored to be able to work with them as well as represent where I live.

Q. Tell us about a challenge you had being in cosmetics?

Q. Looking at your work it is so unique. How do you come up with your designs? A. Some of my makeup designs are manifested from experiences I’ve had from the past and translated into a makeup look. Also, my work is created by referring to other artists’ work and replicating it onto my body. This allows me to tailor it to be more on brand for myself or give it an entirely different meaning.

Q. I see you was selected by Ulta Cosmetics Congratulations. How do you feel about that? A. I am absolutely elated about this opportunity! Today this is one of my biggest accomplishments and I’m honored to have been selected to represent Ohio for the Ulta Beauty Collective.

Q. Tell us about your journey in doing cosmetics? A. My interest in makeup started at the age of 14. I was solely doing it to present myself in a more feminine way that aligned with how I felt on the inside. But, I began to see some of my favorite beauty artists on

both YouTube and Instagram using makeup and how they used it to fully transform themselves.

Q. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? A. In the next five years I see myself graduating from a collegiate institution, collaborating with a makeup brand on an amazing makeup project and creating my own brand.

Q. What are some of your other hobbies?

A. Not only being black in this industry poses a challenge, but also creating makeup related content that doesn’t adhere to many regular standards of beauty. A lot of times my work isn’t deemed valid by others because it doesn’t focus on what this industry is saturated with; that being conventional beauty. Paving a lane for myself as a black creative poses many challenges, but none of them will deter me.

Q. What are some things you are working on and where can everyone follow you? A. I’m continuously honing my skills as an artist, expanding my audience across all of my social media platforms, creating some really fun videos for my YouTube channel and so much more! You can follow me on Instagram @seanskyii, Twitter @ seansky_ _ and YouTube @ Seansky

A. Some of my hobbies include playing tennis, indulging in television shows that I used to watch when I was younger like Pokémon and Steven Universe. I also enjoy watching informative nature documentaries and listening to some of my all-time favorite music artists like Frank Ocean, Beyoncé and Alex Newell.

Q. What is one of your greatest accomplishments? A. I’d say being selected to represent Ohio for the Ulta Beauty Collective is one of WIBMAGZ

“Coming out with my EP is up there. This whole journey has been incredible.” Q. Tell us who Emmrose is? A. I’m a 16-year-old high school student in New York City. I’m just another kid at school during the day. I’m a vocal major at La Guardia High School so you would hear me singing in Italian or some other language if you saw me there.

Q. Who or what inspired you to be an artist? A. Nothing, nobody! Writing music came naturally to me. I loved pop music just like everyone else, but I really didn’t have anyone to say to me oh I want to be like them or sound like they do.

Q. Tell us about your single “Tonight”? A. “Tonight” is based on a party I made up in my mind. It’s a party where you feel so alone, so isolated and uncomfortable, but all of a sudden you see your crush is there… so you tell yourself you need to shake off the insecure feelings and pretend that you are having a great time just in case they notice you there in the crowd. I wanted the production of the song to sound mysterious, so we made it almost like a James Bond theme song. I really love the way it developed.

Q. You just released your debut EP “Hopeless Romantics”, tell us a little about it? A. It is about the struggle of being a teenager. Having a major crush on someone, getting your heart broken and then finding true love without even looking. It is about the anxiety and depression we experience, as well as the pressure at school both socially and academically.

Q. Who is your favorite artist? A. At the moment, I’m really loving Clairo. She’s so inspiring!

Q. What is one of your greatest accomplishments?

Q. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

A. Coming out with my EP is up there. This whole journey has been incredible.

A. College? Maybe I’ll be a fulltime songwriter and performer, who knows!

Q. Tell us about a challenge you had being an artist?

Q. What are some of your other hobbies? A. I really love fashion! Fashion history is super intriguing to me. I love to watch period movies and then research whether the costume design were historically accurate or not.

A. My music teachers have always wanted to change my music, my writing style! For awhile, I didn’t believe I was talented at all.

Q. What are some things you working on and where can everyone follow you? A. I’m working on two new songs I am very excited about. I have an email sign up for news and updates on my website including messages from me about new songs and even previews of new music I’m writing. I like keeping everyone in the know, especially now that we have so much time to spend at home. I’ve been doing live stream shows from my home in NYC, so if you sign up you can be notified in advance of them. “ Most of the time it’s fun! Sometimes you do want a little bit of privacy but it’s nice to know there’s a lot of people out there who care about you and like to watch what you’re putting out there. “ Q. It is an honor to interview you tell everyone who Sarah is. A. Thank you! It’s an honor to be featured in your magazine. Currently, I’m a social media influencer. I have a pretty big following on TikTok(600k) and I also do Instagram and YouTube. I kind of got big from a fake fight that I did with one of my friends (which my mom was really mad about!). Then I went on TikTok and had a few viral videos with my friends Dennis and Tyshon, and now I have a bit of a following. I live in California, between two places. Most of the time I live on a ranch near Yosemite with a lot of animals. We have cats and dogs and horses and even llamas, and I take care of them while I’m home with my family. The rest of the time I live in Los Angeles. I’m there a lot for events and filming. I’m in the GoatFamLA Squad with Gavin Magnus and many of my close friends, so it’s a lot of fun when we film! I really enjoy it and I’m missing my friends so much right now (I’m writing this while still on quarantine).

Q. Tell us about your Fashion and Style? A. I really like the trends that are going on right now with fashion. I think they’re super cute. I really like comfy clothes like sweatpants and tank tops. I like how people are wearing more comfortable clothes now instead of having to get all dressed up. Other than that, my clothes are just casual I guess and a little funky and fun. For events I’ll go outside the box with my outfits, but for filming I’ll just wear a casual outfit. Q. What is your favorite store to shop at? A. I really like Urban outfitters and Brandy Melville. They both have 10

WIBMAGZ

SA R A H L ITTL E a lot of great tops and I love Brandy t-shirts! I also like Justice because it has really great jeans for me. Urban Outfitter’s pants don’t really fit me though. I like to go into the stores and shop with my friends. I can try on clothes and get my friends opinions about what looks cute. We get some matching things sometimes, because

matching outfits are always really cute and fun. Q. How did you become a big success on YouTube and TikTok? A. I started YouTube with a parody of a Bhad Bhabie song, where I called

Q. What are some of your other hobbies?

myself Bhader Bhabie. I was upset she canceled a concert in our area, so I used her song “Hi Bich” and rewrote it and recreated her video. I also had a video on YouTube of me doing a Bratz makeup tutorial with my friend that got a lot of views and was super fun. On TikTok it first started with the Martha Dumptruck Heather’s sound. I did a video with two of my friends, Tyshon Lawrence and Dennis Wot, on Dennis’s channel. It was a viral trend and we got 25 million views, maybe even more. I kept making TikToks with Dennis and Tyshon and made a few more YouTube videos that got around 100,000 views. My friends and I would just follow the trends but put a twist on them and that just helped me grow. Q. What is one of the best challenges you did on YouTube or TikTok? A. I really like making my own POV (point of view) videos because it makes me feel creative and think out of the box. For those I’m not doing someone else’s idea, I’m coming up with my own. I like to make people laugh a lot, so I’ll have my family watch them to see if they laugh first before I post them. One that a lot of people liked was where I pretended my arm was broken. The video was a POV from a girl pretending her arm was broken at her school to get attention. I really liked doing it because I felt super creative and motivated. When I feel really motivated about an idea or a video, I’ll just grasp it and hold onto it. So yeah, that one was really one of my favorites.

A. I like gymnastics even though I’m not very good at it. I do gymnastics in my room because I have a wall that I can practice handstands on. Trying out different kinds of makeup is super fun. I like to paint and climb trees around my house. I don’t know if that’s a hobby. And I like to dress up my dog and groom my dog. My dog’s name is Tanner and I’ll clip his hair and wash him and fluff him up and then put him in a sweatshirt. Q. What is your favorite movie or T.V. show? A. My favorite TV show, BY FAR, is Vampire Diaries. I don’t really watch movies I only watch Vampire Diaries. I’ve seen all the episodes more than once. Q. How do you like sharing your journey in life with everyone in the world? A. Ha ha. Most of the time it’s fun! Sometimes you do want a little bit of privacy but it’s nice to know there’s a lot of people out there who care about you and like to watch what you’re putting out there. I’ve met a

lot of really cool people who are super sweet, and I know will always be there for me. I especially like my squad, including two of my closest friends Gavin Magnus and Corinne Joy. And some of my other close friends in social media are Dennis, Tyshon, and Joey (joewoahy). Those are people who I know are always going to be there for me. And I’m just really grateful for that. Q. How did you become doing Vlog? A. To be honest, I didn’t really know what was going on. I was best friends with a girl who did social media, and I was in her videos. I barely knew what a vlog was before that. I started to grow after that and then just wanted to keep up with the people that were following me already. But then I kept growing so I just started going with it and now I am where I am. Q. What are some things you are working on and where can everyone follow you? A. I have a webisode series called Sisters with Dennis and Tyshon (it’s on Tyshon Lawrence’s YouTube channel), and we’re having so much fun with it. Sisters started with one of Tyshon’s viral videos on TikTok where I pretended, I was being bullied and I called my sisters over to protect me. The video was super popular and funny, so we made a 10-minute video with the characters and it also did well. We just had such a great time making it and people kept asking for another one, so we made a second one after that. In the second video, we got to bring another one of my friends, Joey, in and he is just so funny so that was great. The series has millions of views and great feedback, so we’re now trying to make it into a feature film. I play the youngest sister who doesn’t listen to her sisters. Ha-ha! Sister T is always eating, and Sister D is the oldest sister and kind of strict. Sister Tyshon and I like to mess with Sister D, but he always takes it really seriously. We’re working on the next Sisters video now. You can follow me on Instagram and TikTok (@sarahdorothylittle). You can also checkout out my YouTube videos at youtube.com/c/sarahdorothylittle!

Q. Hello, thanks for letting us Interview you tell us who Keith is?

Q. Who is your Favorite music artist?

A. I am Keith Pichardo, and I am a 17-year-old and was born in a small town called Muncie, Indiana. Currently I live in Chandler, Arizona with my 2 best friends, my brother and my parents. My Dad was born and raised in Dominican Republic and met my mom in college, so I have lots of family from outside of the US. I love to play soccer; it has been a big part of my life. My friends and family are a huge influence in my life. They simply make life better. I am the youngest of three kids, and my older brother and sister are twins and 15 years older than me. They both have children which has made me an uncle of four and one on the way.

A. My favorite music artists are definitely ASAP Rocky and Playboi Carti. With ASAP Rocky, there is always a song that he has to fit your mood. It can be mellow, upbeat or just a song you want to vibe with. With Playboi Carti, any song that you put on by him, it puts me in a crazy, good mood. Every time my friends and I are together there has to be a Carti song on.

Q.I see you play soccer what team do you play and what do you love about that sport? A. I have played soccer for almost my whole life. Currently I play on Arsenal 02 in Arizona, but I have also played for what used to be called Legacy to what is now called “RSL”. Soccer has taught me a lot about myself and my work ethic. This sport has shown me how to be diligent and never give up. I am very competitive and playing on multiple teams for many years has shown me how to work my best against any road block that I encounter. The highlight of my soccer experience has to be playing under the lights for my high school. Playing for Perry High, I started as a right back for both my junior and senior year. There is something special about fighting for your school, best friends, and teammates; it is a feeling I never wanted to end. Q. How did you become a big success on TikTok? A. I became a success on TikTok just being myself. I began with two of my friends just by creating silly videos and I started to see that my videos were getting more and more views the more often I was posting. Then I posted a video of myself simply smiling, and it got on the For You Page. It was a surreal feeling to know that people liked what I was posting so I just consistently kept on going. Being authentic and expressing my true self has been the main key to my success on TikTok.

Q. What is your favorite Movie or T.V. show? A. My favorite movies are brainless, funny movies such as Superbad, Scott Pilgrim VS the World, but I also like movies that challenge my thinking such as Interstellar. I also like any Keanu Reeves movies. Some TV shows I like are The Office, Sex Education, Modern Family. Q. If you can go anywhere in the world where would you go? A. If I can go anywhere in the world, I would have to say Europe in general. I was supposed to go to Italy and Spain for my senior spring break trip, but the Corona Virus began so it got cancelled. Soccer is a big sport in many European countries, and I have always wanted to go see a game. Q. What is some of your other hobbies? A. Other hobbies I have are playing video games, thrifting, and listening to music. I recently started playing video games again and I can’t stop playing Call of Duty with my friends. I love thrifting because I can find a steal for a couple bucks that would usually cost $30 to $40. It allows me to be more creative with the way I style myself and present myself through my clothing. I love to mix and match my style all the time so I can be a little different than everyone else. Listening to music allows me to escape and be in my own headspace. Q. What is a one of your greatest accomplishments? A. One of my greatest accomplishments is that I am graduating with a GPA of 3.9. I was

also honored to be selected to be a part of the 2nd All Region Soccer Team for high school. I have worked very hard to maintain high level grades and to always push myself to be the best athlete I can be. Q. If you can meet any celebrity who would it be and why? A. If I could meet any celebrity, I would choose either David Dobrik, Matthew McConaughey, or Playboi Carti. David Dobrik makes me laugh every day. I watch his videos with my family and friends all of the time, and he never changes himself for anyone. He always stays true to who he is, and I like that very much about him. I appreciate Matthew McConaughey because his acting is so good and never disappoints. Playboi Carti always puts me in a good mood and I love his sense of style which has an influence on the style I have for myself. Q. What projects are you working on and where can everyone follow you? A. Currently I am working on starting a YouTube channel to show the world my day to day life, and also to show how to have fun even through the negative times in life. I love the idea of giving people an escape and uplifting them. You can follow me on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Twitter @keithpichardo. WIBMAGZ

I started my social media apps for fun, and then I honestly really enjoyed it, so I kept going. Q. What are some things you working on and where can everyone follow you? A. Q. Tell us about the single “So Sad” and “Juice”?

A. Thank you, I am a 16-year-old rapper/singer/songwriter/producer from Long Island New York.

A. My single “So Sad” is my #1 song on SoundCloud and the streams on it grow every day. I feel like people love the song because a breakup is a relatable topic and it’s emotional, with simple but deep lyrics. My song Q. What made you want to be in “Juice” is one of my top songs on the music industry and how was Spotify, and the music video also has your experience working with Zay 1.1 million views on YouTube. I’m working on a few things: I just started working on a song with Eden, one of the cast members of Next Big Thing NYC. She wrote the song and I will work on the music with her. I’ve also been working on a few songs of my own and laying down some sets to prepare for a possible virtual dance party. Since we are quarantined, all DJing events for the rest of the year has been canceled or put on hold so I don’t have any live DJ gigs coming up… but usually, I have anywhere from 1 to 7 DJing events a month. Q. Where can your fans follow you? A. Mainly on IG - @DJ_Alden or Sound Cloud and Mix Cloud under DJ Alden or Alden Song

C H R I ST IA N Q. Hello Christian hope all is well can you tell everyone who you are and where you from? A. Hello, Absolutely! I am from and currently still living in Atlanta GA. Q. How do you balance all your endeavors? A. It honestly all comes down to the motivation behind everything I get into. There is a popular saying that says there are only 24 hours in a day, and the difference between the people who are successful and those who are not is how wisely you spend those hours. I will admit, doing all of the things that I do, as well as school, and life in general is not any easy 48

In my free time I am creating flyers and sending out business emails, I surround myself with peers and people who support and motivate me to keep moving forward, but most importantly I keep control of my mindset, because our mindsets are our biggest strengths or biggest weaknesses depending on which we choose. A. The Defiant Ones Teen Magazine is a Magazine that is “For Teens By Teens” and talks about the latest Entertainment, Fashion, News, Trends, etc. But what truly makes it stand out is the information and stories we share inside that all come from a Youth’s perspective like, Creating Businesses, Becoming Leaders, Financial Literacy, Life after Highschool, Sex Trafficking, Bullying, and so much more. We also share the stories of Teen and Young Adult Influencers of all career types and learn about their struggles, successes, and experiences. We have now even created a podcast out of the Magazine called The Defiant Ones Teen Podcast, and the topics are mainly the same but what makes this podcast special is now we aren’t just talking to Teens and Young Adults but instead are speaking with Youth, Teens, and Adults who share their amazing wisdom, expertise, and experience to help our listeners/viewers grow and thrive. Me and my brother (Co-Founder Dekori Robinson’s) mission with both of these is basically to Inspire everyone that Anything is possible at any age, race, gender, etc. We want to be examples that everyone is capable of Defying the expectation or limitations put against us. Being Co-Founder of this amazing brand is just a blessing on its own, what started one night at the dinner table as just an idea then transformed into something that

our parents supported and would help to grow and seeing where it is now is truly incredible. But we have so much more to do, so many more lives to change and impact. We want to get our Magazine into all stores, airports, and Juvenile detention centers so that the kids in there can see what amazing things the people their age is capable of and go for greatness once they are released. Q. I see that you are a Singer/ Rapper. What makes your music different from others? A. Honestly, I am still figuring that out. A lot of music these days talks about sex, money, drugs, and uses lots of profanity. I don’t want my music to be seen in that way. My music is uplifting ad super relatable, I want my music to be very powerful in its messages but also something that Everyone wants to listen to. The dynamic for what is seen as good music is constantly changing, and Just like Micheal Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce and so many other incredible artists want my work to be like theirs but even better. Q. Share one fun fact about yourself? A. I just turned 17 but I’m mentally still 7. Just playing Haha, but really I am constantly listening to Disney movie songs and soundtracks, or just watching Disney shows/ movies. A lot of people criticize me for it but honestly it brings out the kid inside of me, and that is what helps me to always be so happy and positive. Q. What is your favorite genre in music and favorite music artist? A. I love Hip Hon & RnB! But most of all I enjoy equally both old school music as well as movie soundtracks and instrumentals. I enjoy those so much because it resonates within me. I said that I am mentally still a kid, but I am also an old man who loves the feel of old school and dancing. Soundtracks and Instrumentals really just bring out the musicality of a song and I absolutely love the feeling that it gives me. It is extremely hard to choose a favorite musical artist but for the sake of the question I will say

Bruno mars. All of his music are hits and they all give me that resonant feeling. Q. How would you describe your apparel brand “Find Your Element”? A. My clothing brand FYE Apparel “Find Your Element” was created after my experiences with bullying, and symbolizes being confident in who you are. Growing up, I have always been the type of kid who would do any and everything to make others laugh and smile. I was always goofy and happy and still I got so much hate for it. I didn’t have many friends, I got called so many names, physically abused, and I never understood why. So, in the pressure of all of that it came to a point where I didn’t know who I was anymore, what I wanted to do with my life, I lost myself. So, in that state of mind I wasn’t happy and knew that I just wanted to get back to the old me, and I had to take a lot of time to myself to rediscover who I was, who I wanted to be, my passions, goals etc. And that was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I represent all of this as an Element. Elements are keys to life, and the keys to our own live and our own destinies is ourselves. So, the greatest thing that we all can do as individuals is ignore everything and internally Find Ourselves aka Find Our Element! I promote this message verbally through speeches and interviews and I also sell clothing with this message online, but I want to do so much more; so best believe that this is just the beginning. Q. What are some of the great opportunities and challenges you’ve had being a young entrepreneur? A. Well-being so young I have both garnered many amazing opportunities as well as put lots of challenges upon myself. Some of the great things that I have been fortunate to speak with with many influential community leaders around the Atlanta area and having the pleasure of meeting and working with so many incredible Teen and Young Adult Entertainers & Entrepreneurs from around the world. Everyday our brand and its mission grows stronger and brings in new support which is so heavily appreciated. But at the same time it’s not easy. Balancing life, school, and business is an absolute challenge, the process of actually working on and perfecting every

But the biggest challenge of all naturally for doing so much at this young age is the financial part of it all. It is very hard to create something so strong and well put together and promote it to garner support without money. “ Our experience was our first ep inspire by things that we experience as well as letting people know about us. Starting out with “ATL”, an acapella about our hometown Atlanta Georgia.”

MA KO G I R LS Q. Tell us about the Mako Girls? How did you ladies come up with the name? A. MAKO Girls is a sister trio with a west Indian background that sing, dance, and rap. We are based in Atlanta making Hip-Hop and Pop music. The name was original thought of by our mother and we came up with a meaning behind it, which is M for Mimi, A for A-Ni, K for Kena, and our last name Ochoa.

WIBMAGZ

Q. What or Who inspired you ladies? A. We are inspired by many artists that came before us. In the beginning our main inspiration was the boy band Mindless Behavior and the legendary girl group TLC. We still look up to those people but now we take a lot more inspiration from people like Billie Eilish, Beyonce, and Chloe and Halle because of their strong fan base as well as their work ethic. The last thing that really motivates us is our family and the people that has been there since day 1.

Q. What are some things you’ll do when you have spare time? A. The three of us have very different interest. For A-Ni, on her spare time she plays video games and spend time with our family and pets. Mimi likes to watch YouTube videos talk to friends on the phone, and sing. And finally, for Kena, she like to watch anime also talk to friends and go out.

Q. How did you’ll get into doing Glow Parties?

Q. What are one of your biggest accomplishments?

A. The Carnival Glow Party was originally our introduction into the music industry letting people know more about us. The carnival part came in because we wanted to show people carnival in our Caribbean culture. Then after the great turn out from the first year we decided to make it an annual event putting young artist like us making clean music have a platform to perform the music.

A. There are two major events that tied for our biggest accomplishments. The first one was being able to open for the boy group Mindless Behavior at their album release party. It was very exciting to perform for the group that inspired us to pursue our career, and it is a moment that we will never forget. Along with that our second greatest accomplishment was selling out at 450 people attending our “3rd Annual Carnival Glow Party”.

Q. Tell us about the Mako Girls Experience? A. The Mako Girls Experience was our first ep inspire by things that we experience as well as letting people know about us. Starting out with “ATL”, an acapella about our hometown Atlanta Georgia. Then we have “Mako Thing” and “Turning up the crowd” which are songs that describe us based off message in the song, we are chill but also like to have a good time. And lastly there’s “Game Time”, this is our go hard or go home track spitting nothing but bars the entire song. Q. What are one of your biggest challenges? A. One of our biggest challenges is posting on social media. Not only do you have to make great content, but it must be at least three post every day on almost every platform. Most people assume that if you are not posting frequently on social media that you are not doing anything. So, we strive to always put out something for our fans to stay engaged on our social media accounts.

Q. What is one place you would love to go to and perform? A. Due to us receiving numerous requests from our fans to go to Brazil we would love to travel and perform there!
