CitrusBR was founded in June 2009 by the biggest Brazilian producers and exporters of citrus juices and derivatives: Cutrale, Citrosuco and Louis Dreyfus Commodities. Its main objective is to defend the collective aims of citrus exporters in both the national and international extents by monitoring trade issues, combating trade barriers, acting in pursuit of institutional interests, supporting technical studies to find solutions and alternatives for sector-related problems, interacting with other agribusiness entities, promoting orange juice consumption and, most importantly, promoting the sector's image by disclosing updated, clear and reliable information.
