Batsheva, how has life changed since starring on My Unorthodox Life? The biggest change is being able to connect with so many more people on a regular basis. I was doing social media before with a [pretty] large following on Tik Tok, so I was used to people knowing me to an extent. Obviously, it’s significantly larger now! What have you discovered about yourself through filming reality TV? How we—as people—are all really the same; experiences I go through [I hope] can inspire others. Everyone goes through life with happy and sad times. Being able to potentially help others out, even if it’s uncomfortable for me, helps drive me.

What would people be surprised to learn about filming a reality show? How real it actually is! A lot of people assume it’s fake drama. We really try to focus on what’s going on in our lives. People constantly ask if the pants fight with [my ex] Ben really happened—it did. It truly was a fight that we had a million times. I really didn’t wear pants until I was almost 27. I wanted to for a bit of time and fought with him about it and people are like, that can’t be. But it was. It’s amazing to think about how significant of a moment that must’ve been for you to wear pants for the first time. What were they? They were Paige jeans with a little flare at the bottom. I got them in the Meatpacking District, and I was so excited because they were the first pair I bought myself versus taking from my mom. I’ve learned a lot about jeans since then! This past year marked a lot of change for you and your family. How do you stay strong through tough times? I’m thankful that I have my family and a great group of friends. They keep me grounded and support me. My circle is very small—quality over quantity. I had to get a new group of friends since my divorce because most were
