The interior of The Founder’s Office is structured like a large open space in shades of sand, to remember the nearby desert; also in the corridor, a long glass wall contains sand inside, recreating the charm of the dunes that lead the visitor to the main room. The shades are warm and the natural materials alternate with a gray and minimal furniture that gives a touch of modernity to the whole. The ceilings were made with a handmade "Al Sedu" weaving, an ancient Bedouin weaving technique named Unesco Intangible Cultural Heritage; but the real peculiarity of this office is given by the reception: behind the large counter, made with a giant stone from the nearby Jabal Hafeet mountain, the spotlights that make up the wall lighting were arranged to represent the constellation that was in the sky during the night of the sheikh's birth. To mark the large shelves, the interlacing of the ceilings and the other complements present, a neutral surface was needed, which maintained this velvety and warm effect of the environment and united the spaces: Microtopping® was chosen, the Ideal Work® solution capable of creating in just 3 mm thick, a contemporary and striking setting. As well as for the floors, being a solution that can also be applied vertically, Microtopping® has also been used to cover the walls of the corridor, in perfect harmony with the warm color of the sand. Chosen in a neutral shade, Microtopping® goes perfectly with natural materials, such as wood or rope, and manages to best enhance each complement and furnishing accessory with great elegance.
