MULTI-SKILLS PATHWAYS IN JOINERY, BRICKWORK, PAINTING AND DECORATING LEVEL 1 - 1 YEAR
WHAT WILL I DO? If you’re thinking about a career in the construction industry but are unsure of which trade to specialise in, this course could be perfect for you. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at joinery, painting and decorating, decorative effects as well as covering health and safety, an introduction to construction and more.
YOU NEED: There are no formal entry requirements for this course. You will have an informal interview with the course teacher to check that this is the right course for you.
WHAT’S NEXT? You could specialise in a trade at level 2 such as joinery, painting & decorating, bricklaying, motor vehicle or electrical installations.
TECHNICAL AWARD IN CONSTRUCTION & THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT LEVEL 2 - 1 YEAR
WHAT WILL I DO? You will explore the structure of the construction industry and built environment industry and how the different trades work together on construction projects.
WHAT CAN I EARN?
You will carry out practical tasks related to repair, maintenance and refurbishment of buildings.
