To offer one of the most innovative health and wellbeing spaces in London, Pan Pacific Hotel Group set aside an entire floor of its first property in Europe for the pursuit of integrative fitness, nutrition, treatments and mindfulness. Located in a mixed-use development at One Bishopsgate Plaza, Pan Pacific London offers 237 bedrooms and suites as well as the 1,083sqm wellness space designed by hotel interior architects Yabu Pushelberg. Realised with support from The Vigour Group, the Wellbeing Floor is a nature-inspired haven of wood, greenery and water that offers an 18.5m infinity pool and two treatment rooms, with furniture custom-made in Italy and treatment beds sourced from India. TecnoBody has provided a high-performance training zone that includes a D-wall system with body recognition and virtual functionality in a stand-alone performance zone. Spa treatments are performed using PANPURI Organic Spa, VENN Skincare and Naturalia Sintesi products, combining western science with a South-East Asian ‘clean beauty’ concept. The space offers mindfulness workshops and advice on sustainable nutrition, and hotel guests can also enjoy in-room wellbeing experiences including digital content and a temperature-regulated sleep system custom-designed in collaboration with ChiliSleep. Discussing the launch of the eye-catching urban wellbeing sanctuary, Robbie Leung, Wellbeing Floor consultant at Pan Pacific London, said: “We’ve built our wellbeing strategy on three pillars – high performance, education and accessibility.
