Cum s-a adaptat festivalul la pandemie? A r\mas cu sechele? S-a vaccinat? (n.r. råde) Noi, organizatorii, tot timpul spunem c\ dac\ am reu[it s\ facem edi]ia de anul trecut, tot ce va veni de-acum încolo va fi „floare la ureche”. A fost unul din pu]inele evenimente care s-a putut desf\[ura fizic anul trecut. A fost complicat, pân\ în ultimul moment nu prea [tiam ce avem voie [i ce nu avem voie s\ facem, ce se va întâmpla cu spectatorii, cu publicul... a fost greu. Dar a fost un tip de aventur\ care ne-a f\cut s\ ne relax\m [i mai mult. Am înv\]at c\ lucrurile trebuie luate a[a cum sunt, când nu le po]i schimba, când nu le po]i controla decåt într-o mic\ m\sur\. Am mers mai departe [i ne-am bucurat c\ putem fi împreun\. Desigur, cu masc\, cu distan]are, cu doar 400 de oameni la o proiec]ie..., dar am reu[it s\ ]inem festivalul. Am înv\]at foarte mult din experien]a de anul trecut, acum suntem vaccina]i [i la propriu [i la figurat [i cred c\ ce a fost mai complicat în ceea ce prive[te restric]iile, a trecut. Anonimul î[i serbeaz\ majoratul! Ce a însemnat Anonimul pentru Delt\ [i ce a însemnat Delta pentru Anonimul? Ce a însemnat Anonimul pentru Delt\, pentru oamenii de acolo...? Mi-ar pl\cea foarte mult s\ cred c\ sim]im la fel. Delta e
ceva ce ne define[te ca festival. Delta îi spore[te farmecul! Noi am avut o singur\ edi]ie pe care nu am putut s\ o desf\[ur\m în Delt\. Am organizat o edi]ie la Bucure[ti, dar nu a avut acela[i impact. Tot ce ]ine de festival e legat, în cel mai intim mod, de Delt\. Suntem extrem de lega]i de Green Dolphin. Îmi aduc aminte, acum 17 ani [i ceva, când am v\zut pentru prima oar\ locul respectiv – nu mai fusesem în Delt\ pân\ la acea dat\ [i [tiu c\ aveam mici/mari prejudec\]i legate de tân]ari, de confortul de acolo – am avut o mare surpriz\! Acolo e o altfel de curgere a timpului, un altfel de ritm. Am descoperit un loc cu o lumin\ aparte. {i nu o spun eu, o spun cinea[tii. Exist\ [i o explica]ie [tiin]ific\. E o lumin\ într-adev\r diferit\ [i apoi, oamenii... Procesul de cunoa[tere a fost lent, dar acum suntem o mare familie! Ce tip de filme se potrivesc festivalului? Cum se face selec]ia? De la bun început, acum mul]i ani, împreun\ cu pre[edintele funda]iei Anonimul, Sorin Marin – [i tot repet acest lucru pentru c\ mi se pare [i mie incredibil c\ au trecut 17 ani –, ne-am gândit la un loc în care s\ vedem, cu prec\dere, filme independente. Desigur, de-atunci defini]ia filmului independent s-a schimbat foarte mult, dar a r\mas
How did the festival adapt to the pandemic? Is it traumatized? Is it vaccinated? We, the organizers, always say that if we managed to do last year’s edition, we will be able to handle anything that comes from now on. This festival was amongst the few events that took place physically last year. It was complicated because the regulations were not clear until the last minute, we didn’t know what we were allowed to do and what was forbidden, what would happen to the audience… It was hard. But it was the kind of adventure that made us relax even more. We learned that things should be taken as they come, that you cannot change them, that you can only control things in a small measure. We went through with it and we were happy that we could be together. Of course, with masks and social distancing, with only 400 people at a screening, but we were able to hold the festival. We learned a lot from last year’s experience, and now we are truly vaccinated, both literally and figuratively, and I think the hardest times in terms of restrictions have passed. Anonimul is turning 18! What does Anonimul mean for the Danube and what does the Danube mean for the festival? What did the festival mean for the Danube region, for the people there? I like to think that we are on the same wavelength. The Danube defines this festival. It gives it its charm. There was only one edition that did not take place in the Danube. It took place in Bucharest, but it did not have the same impact. Everything that relates to this festival is tied, in the most intimate way, to the Danube Delta. We are extremely close to Green Dolphin. I remember, some 17 years ago, when I saw the place for the first time, I had not been to the Danube at that point and I remember I
