ongratulations to the Queen’s Royal Hussars who defeated the King’s Royal Hussars (rec ½ goal) 6-5½for the prestigious Inter Regimental Trophy. This was the first time that this match has been played on Major General’s Cup Finals Day but ensured the first Sunday in September was a wonderful day of military sport and spectacle. Capt Paddy Selfe of the King’s Royal Hussars received the Pringle Cup for the Most Valuable Player while the Queen’s Royal Hussars’ Capt Jamie Fry was presented with the Major Iain Forbes-Cockell Award by Iain’s daughters Annabel and Emma, for the Moment of the Match. ✸ TEAMS
