Susan Bennett Environmental Interpreter
Susan Bennett has been with the City as the Environmental Interpreter since 2017. The first question she is asked is, “What is an Environmental Interpreter?” So here it is… environmental interpreters facilitate emotional and intellectual connections between the visitor and the resource. In each of her workshops, Susan strives to ignite a curiosity for the natural world and inspire stewardship.
Susan is passionate about pollinators. She manages the City apiary and offers workshops about Colorado’s pollinators and beekeeping. Did you know there are almost 950 species of native bees in Colorado?
Susan also enjoys creating pollinator gardens, hiking, and skiing, as well as relaxing outside with her family.
