FINANCE - BUDGET AND STRATEGIC PLANNING DESCRIPTION The Division of Budget and Strategic Planning provides financial, management information, control, and guidance to the City Council, City Manager, and City departments. The primary responsibilities of the division include the development of the annual operating and capital budget and capital improvements program and plan, revenue and expenditure analysis and quarterly financial reporting, strategic financial planning, and fiscal impact analysis. FY 23 OBJECTIVES Develop a balanced budget in compliance with local and state laws. Prepare quarterly budget reports within 30 days of the end of each quarter. Comply with 100% of the City’s adopted financial policies. Variance between actual and projected General Fund revenue of 3% or less.
