Von der Piste in den Pool Tatsächlich, dieses 5-Sterne Superior Hotel von Kempinski steht direkt am Pistenrand, Ski in & Ski out, ziemlich einzigartig im mondänen Kitzbühel. Also führt der Weg direkt von der Skipiste in den Pool – cool. Der Pool ist dabei nur Teil eines Spa, der auf 3.600 Quadratmetern drei Saunas, 12 Behandlungszimmer, ein Hildegard Bingen Dampfbad und zwei weitere Pools anbietet. Da kommt garantiert keine Wellness-Langeweile auf. Noch besser kommt es im Kulinarik-Bereich: Zur Wahl stehen die Rubin und Mountain Health Bar, die Restaurants Steinberg und Sra Bua sowie die Private Dining Fondue Stuben. Küchenchefin Veronika Späth handelt dabei nach der Maxime «Schmackhafte, frische Zutaten, nach Möglichkeit aus der Region». Besonders angetan hat es mir die Signature Dish, ein ganz besonderes Dessert: Chef Patissière Claudia Weber kreierte das Meisterwerk "Wald & Wiese". Die Idee dazu kam ihr bei einem ihrer vielen Wanderstreifzüge durch die Region. Wie der Name verrät, spiegelt dieser Teller auf schönste Art und Weise die Flora der umliegenden Kitzbüheler Alpen wider. Kempinski, mal anders.

In fact, this 5-star superior hotel by Kempinski is right on the edge of the slopes, ski in & ski out, quite unique in fashionable Kitzbühel. So the path leads directly from the ski slope to the pool - cool. The pool is part of a spa that offers three saunas, 12 treatment rooms, a Hildegard Bingen steam bath and two more pools on 3,600 square metres. Guests definitely won't get bored with wellness.Things get even better in the culinary area: you can choose from the Rubin and Mountain Health Bar, the Steinberg and Sra Bua restaurants and the Private Dining Fondue Stuben. Chef Veronika Späth acts according to the maxim "Tasty, fresh ingredients, if possible from the region". I was particularly taken with the signature dish, a very special dessert: Chef Patissière Claudia Weber created the masterpiece "Wald & Wiese". The idea came to her during one of her hiking trips, this plate beautifully reflects the flora of the surrounding Kitzbühel Alps. Kempinski, with a difference.
