Discrimination isn’t a new thing in Thai society, but it is strongly getting worse, which can be the result of the confrontation between democracy and conservatism that doesn’t accept lives in the past. This project is worked upon wonder and prediction of Thailand in the next 10 years through video art, containing implied content about politics in both of them, with the concept of ‘what is the indicator for correctness.’ Is it related with any concept or domination or not? This project itself might not be able to change any context in the society or any person thought, but it aims to communicate the same story in different aspects.
POPCULT การแบ่งฝ่ายไม่ใช่เรื่องใหม่ในสังคมไทยนัก แต่ในปัจจุบันมีความรุนแรงมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ และมีแนวโน้มที่จะเกิดความรุนแรงมากขึ้นไปอีก อาจเป็น เพราะเราเป็นผลผลิตที่ตกทอดมาจากอดีตที่เกิดการปะทะกันของฝ่ายประชาธิปไตยและฝ่ายอนุรักษ์นิยมที่ไม่ยอมรับการเป็นไปของโลก ซึ่งส่ง ผลมาถึงปัจจุบันที่หลายฝ่ายก�ำลังต้องการแสดงจุดยืนที่ต่างกัน ผลงานชิ้นนี้จึงเป็นการท�ำงานบนความสงสัยและการคาดการณ์ความเป็นไปของ การเมืองไทยในอีก 10 ปีข้างหน้าบอกเล่าผ่าน Video Art ที่มีนัยยะแฝงทางการเมืองซึ่งมีทั้งหมด 2 ชุด ซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้แนวคิดที่ว่า อะไรคือตัวชี้ วัดความถูกต้อง สิ่งนี้เกี่ยวพันกับชุดความคิดและการครอบง�ำทางความคิดหรือไม่ ตัวผลงานเองอาจไม่สามารถเปลี่ยนบริบทในสังคมหรือความ คิดของใครได้ เพียงแต่ต้องการสื่อให้เห็นเรื่องราวเดียวกันในมุมมองที่ต่างออกไป ซึ่ง Video Art ทั้ง 2 ชุด มี Sysnopsis ดังต่อไปนี้
