You don’t need a background in education, and there are no qualifications beyond having access to email and being interested – in people, in schools, in the community, in making a small contribution to society. The East Sussex Governor and Clerking Service is holding two recruitment events for prospective school governors. These events will outline the benefit that being a school governor brings to the local community, the school community and your own professional and personal development. Speakers will include the chair of the East Sussex Governors Forum, a local headteacher, governors in business and a representative from the Diocese. You will have the chance ask any
