Clariona also owns an online women's boutique called Blume’ Fashions. In full transparency, she is realistic about the challenges of entrepreneurship, especially when you have the comfort of a well-paying career that you invest in everyday. In order to achieve her goals as an entrepreneur, she attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Fashion Design & Retail Management. Three years and thousands of dollars in student loans later, she came to the realization that she really did not need this certification to pursue her passion in fashion. In 2015, she started Pass on de Fashion Nola. Fast forward to her faith move to Texas, there were many hurdles and roadblocks that impeded her ability to connect with the brand of PODF. She was growing in every aspect of her life, but she knew owning her own boutique and eventually designing for and styling others was the goal. The discouragement was enough to quit, yet faith, determination and hard work instilled within Clariona a new vision for her business. In 2021, she rebranded her entire business and began Blume’! This made so much sense because that's exactly what she had been doing the past few years, flourishing.

Professionally, her time is spent balancing her corporate career along with her fashion boutique. She is the Director of Public Relations and Media for an amazing automotive group, Don McGill Toyota and Toyota of Katy. Here she plans and initiates all cause related efforts of the McGill brand in our communities. She has achieved so many great things since moving into this position,

after selling cars for a few years. Her greatest accomplishment has been the relationship she built with the Katy and Spring Branch Independent School Districts. This has allowed her to create a work-based learning environment for special needs kids and young adults. Through this program, they are able to come to the dealerships and experience the entire day-to-day operations in each department. In addition, it provides opportunities of employment at either of their locations. She is extremely proud that through the program, they have hired one young man. Her position here has been so purposeful and heart filling. She is eternally grateful!
