Bronze Vessels from Grave N 24 in Vani Grave N 24 was excavated on the upper terrace of the Vani site in 2004. A vast array of grave goods was found surrounding the principal deceased. Of our interest is a group of bronze vessels, composed of a phiale, a beak-spouted oinochoe, and a basin. The phiale mesomphalos is of Greek type. The beak-spouted oinochoe is of a type well known in Macedonian, Getic, and Scythian contexts. Its Greek origin is supposed. The basin is flat-bottomed, supplied with a movable ring-handle whose attachment is decorated with a floral pattern. Bronze basins of this type have already been found both in Vani and Dablagomi.
