What makes the hotel really special?

We are no longer in the service & product industry. We do not operate our space as hotel, We are in the emotion, culture exchange & experience business.

Socialtel is Gen Z and Millennial playground bridging the gap between the hotel & hostel. A 4-star design led hotel with a hostel soul, summing 272 beds featuring cocktail bar, pink-sand day club, cannabis café, living room with play station, pool table & cinema hall. It’s simple for us, why a hotel gotta be so anti-social and why a hostel gotta be so uncomfortable?

Currently our space is patronized by Digital Nomads, Backpackers, Party Go-ers, Eccentrics, LGBTQ and Adventure Seekers.

We are not strictly Gucci courture and neither are we surrounded by flip flops but we are a space for both to comfortably coincide.

A public space driven community, where all of our guests can be part in activities usually found in backpacking hostels such pub crawls, boozey quiz, karoke, group chats as well as high end F&B and wellness events curated in luxury hotels. We provide all under one roof.

There is only rule at socialtel: Be Social \ Live Social. Period.

We believe that constant innovation and the perfect balance between human touch and technology is the secret recipe to remain relevant in todays industry.

Currently we are in the final stages of opening a brand new social club, social radio, rooftop gym with cold tub and peruvian resto-bar .

There are several effective ways we attempt to accomplish this. We continue to invest in our website and ensure it is user-friendly and mobile-optimized. H2o Suites website is often the first point of contact for potential guests, so making a great first impression is essential. The website should be easy to navigate, with clear information about our amenities, location, and pricing. It’s also essential to ensure the website is optimized for mobile devices since more and more people are booking travel on their phones.

We regularly review our search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to help our hotel’s website to rank higher in search engine results pages by creating quality content, optimizing metadata and images, and building backlinks from reputable

sources. We also keep on top of our Google My Business listing and review responses and other local directories to improve visibility in search results.

Staff hiring and retention are the biggest challenges for every property - not only in Mui Ne, but it affects most of the hospitality sector. It wasn’t easy before the Coronavirus outbreak, and the hospitality industry was one of the hardest-hit industries by the pandemic.

As we are all adjusting to the new norms and on the road to recovery, we encourage learning and career progression while providing the necessary tools and resources to attract new hires as these initiatives demonstrate that our employees are valued additions to the company while giving them a sense of purpose and empowerment. Appreciation for the skills and knowledge that the team brings to the table, clear communication on expectations, and promoting an atmosphere where people feel valued and enjoy being at work are motivators for staff retention. A happy employee will ensure a positive work culture that results in providing wonderful guest experiences and also works to draw interest from potential candidates too.

The exponentially rising costs caused by current global events also impacted the industry two-fold. The biggest challenge is certainly the high density of direct competitors. Especially in South Tyrol (Italy) and Tyrol (Austria) we have a very large number of top 5 star hotels with a top infrastructure. Today, you can hardly score points with the most beautiful spa area or the most beautiful suite, but the overall offer has to be right. An enormously important factor here are the employees. They are the pillars of a company. And that is also one of the biggest challenges today: finding good and loyal employees.

What makes the hotel really special?

The Quellenhof See Lodge is certainly an absolute novelty in South Tyrol due to its architecture - completely out of the classical architecture in this area. Although we are located in the Alps, we have been inspired by the Maldives in terms of construction and flair. The resort is situated around an artificial lake of 4,500m² (pool) and 4 exclusive villas are

located directly in the pool. The offer in the house is also inspired by the Maledives. For example, we offer our guests the “underwater restaurant”, a speciality restaurant with fine fish creations. This is just one of the many highlights of the new See Lodge.

Something that we strive for is consistency: retaining our high standard of service in everything we do; from the food, to the service, ambience, and even the marketing. Another industry-wide challenge is talent. There is a shortage of experienced and skilled senior people, such as chefs and managers. It’s something we need to address as an industry; nurturing and developing a pool of talent from within.

I think the fact that we live and breathe the three things that make for a fantastic experience; great food, fantastic wine, and a vibey ambience.
