popular STAND fanzine
"A football fanzine for the likes of Doncaster." Est. 1998 when all this was nowt but fields. popular STAND fanzine was born, as it's name suggests on the Popular Stand at Belle Vue, to give fans of Doncaster Rovers a voice against the club's increasingly sinister and bizarre regime. The target of most of the early copies were the two men tearing the club apart, 'benefactor' Ken Richardson and 'manager' Mark Weaver. Eventually, and thankfully that pairing fell away, but the fanzine has continued onwards to this day.
