Technology What is this subject all about at Senior Cycle? Technology at Senior Cycle involves learning about the world around us through Design, Electronics, Control Systems and Manufacturing. Do I have to have studied this subject at Junior Cycle in order to do it at Senior Cycle? It is preferable if you have studied Applied Technology at Junior Cycle Level as much of the subject will expand on what you have already learned but there are also many new elements at Senior Cycle. Will learning this subject at Senior Cycle be different to what I studied at Junior Cycle? As mentioned above, much of the work will expand on what you have learned already in Junior Cycle but there are some new topics. Students will apply their knowledge and skills creatively in a design based approach to solving everyday technological problems while being mindful of the impact on natural resources and the environment.
