Cada año esta sección del Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá - BOGOSHORTS busca permitirle al público vivir la experiencia de visitar festivales de cine de otros rincones del mundo. A través de estas selecciones especiales de cortometrajes, se pueden descubrir los intereses temáticos particulares de ciertos eventos, las características de la producción de cine del país que los acoge, o las tendencias y talentos reconocidos en los cortometrajes premiados en estos festivales. En 2021 empezamos a recorrer el camino de una nueva alianza entre BOGOSHORTS y Aguilar Film Festival, festival internacional de cortometrajes que se realiza anualmente en la localidad de Aguilar de Campoo, Castilla y León, España. Este año celebra su 33° edición del 3 al 9 de diciembre, y aprovechando que ambos festivales se celebran en fechas similares, queremos ofrecer a nuestros públicos la experiencia de asistir a los dos eventos. Es así como nace el Nexo AGUILAR/BOGOSHORTS, un programa de cortometrajes exhibido en las salas de Aguilar de Campoo y Bogotá, que este año tiene el propósito de destacar y poner en diálogo el trabajo en formato corto de talentosas mujeres cineastas de España y Colombia, con obras de ficción y animación. Mientras tanto, en el BFM - BOGOSHORTS Film Market se sentarán las bases de un nuevo foro de co-producción entre ambos países, desarrollado por los dos festivales, que busca potenciar la colaboración entre cineastas iberoamericanos. Every year this section of the Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá - BOGOSHORTS seeks to allow the public to live the experience of visiting film festivals from other corners of the world. Through these special selections of short films, it is possible to discover the particular thematic interests of certain events, the characteristics of the film production of the country that hosts them, or the trends and talents recognized in the short films awarded at these festivals. In 2021 we begin to walk the path of a new alliance between BOGOSHORTS and Aguilar Film Festival, an international short film festival that takes place annually in the town of Aguilar de Campoo, Castilla y León, Spain. This year it celebrates its 33rd edition from December 3 to 9, and taking advantage of the fact that both festivals are held on similar dates, we want to offer our audiences the experience of attending both events. This is how the AGUILAR/ BOGOSHORTS Nexus is born, a program of short films exhibited in the theaters of Aguilar de Campoo and Bogotá, which this year aims to highlight and put in dialogue the work in short format of talented women filmmakers from Spain and Colombia, with fiction and animation works. Meanwhile, the BFM - BOGOSHORTS Film Market will lay the foundations for a new co-production forum between the two countries, developed by the two festivals, which seeks to promote collaboration between Ibero-American filmmakers.
