Grand Hyatt Taipei (or similar); National Geographic Resolution for the remainder of the trip | Meals: 9B, 9L, 9D DAYS 12–23 I MICRONESIA/KIRIBATI/ TOKELAU, NEW ZEALAND Anchor off Chuuk to snorkel or dive the lagoon’s renowned World War II wrecks, go on rainforest walks, and learn about Micronesian culture. Continue to Pohnpei to visit ancient Nan Madol, built entirely on coral flats. In Kiribati, explore the mangroves at Butaritari Atoll, and delve into local culture on Tarawa. After three days to relax at sea, arrive at remote Tokelau. Learn about the island’s strong Polynesian culture, and snorkel and dive the rich coral reefs. Meals: 12B, 12L, 12D DAYS 1–11 I U.S./TAIPEI, TAIWAN/RYUKYU ISLANDS, JAPAN/GUAM Arrive in Taipei after an overnight flight and enjoy a city tour. Explore Japan’s tiny Ryukyu Islands, watching for birds in the mangroves and snorkeling reefs in search of the elusive Okinawan dugong. Settle into life aboard the ship during two days at sea. On Guam, discover remote beaches and get acquainted with the island’s history and unique Chamorro culture. Traverse more than 500 nautical miles en route to Micronesia.

DAYS 24–29 I COOK ISLANDS/FRENCH POLYNESIA/TAHITI/U.S. Land at Palmerston Island, populated solely by the descendants of an English adventurer. Meet these families to hear about modern life on a remote island. Sail east to Raiatea and visit the Taputapuatea marae, one of the most important spiritual sites in the Polynesian world. Enjoy an afternoon on our private motu at Tahaa. Disembark in Papeete and tour the town before your overnight flight home. Meals: 5B, 5L, 4D
