MOTOR VEHICLE LEVEL 1 There are more than 30 million vehicles on Britain’s roads providing work for an army of skilled servicing and maintenance staff? This broad-based course consisting of both practical and theory assessments aimed at those wishing to progress within this dynamic industry.
You will have the opportunity to use our fully-equipped workshop, one of the largest motor vehicle facilities in the region, and our extensive fleet of vehicles to gain an insight into the repair techniques required in the motor vehicle repairs industry. This introduction will prepare you for progression to the Level 2 and 3 qualifications (full-time or as an apprentice) where you will be using our modern diagnostic scan-tools, wheel alignment systems, tyre fitting machines and the latest auto data plus, you will also have dedicated classrooms. You will repair a large range of vehicles under expert tuition from our highly experienced teaching staff.
Progression
You will also gain a broad understanding of health and safety in the workplace and other skills associated with working in a garage. Your further studies in this area, at Level 2 and above, will qualify you for working in all different areas of the motor vehicle industry.
