Apple launches the 5G-enabled iPhone 12 packed with leaps in innovation.
E
very iPhone launch is an event of global importance, ushering in a new rafter of innovations to the everevolving iconic smartphone. In 2020, it was the turn of the iPhone 12 to take the spotlight, along with the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. This event was described by Apple as a “new era”, bringing with it plenty to be excited about. Among the impressive features is the Apple-designed A14 Bionic, the fastest chip ever in a smartphone, enabling console-quality gaming experiences, powerful computational photography, and delivering great battery life. All four iPhone 12 models also boast improved speeds for downloading and uploading, higher quality video streaming, more responsive gaming, real-time interactivity in apps, high definition FaceTime, and more. Other exciting features are the biggest leap in durability ever for an iPhone via the ceramic shield front cover, Super Retina XDR displays for a brighter, more

immersive viewing experience, and the introduction of MagSafe, offering high-powered wireless charging and an all-new ecosystem of iPhone accessories. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max include the all-new Apple ProRAW for more creative control in photos, new camera features for professional quality images and improved videos, and a new LiDAR Scanner for immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are available in five different colour aluminium finishes, while the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are available in stainless steel finishes of graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue.
